FrostWire is a community project based on LimeWire's source code is say that it is a Gnutella client compatible with all standard P2P currently open. Most of the developers are still members of the open-source LimeWire but because filtering of content that makes LimeWire, have decided to create a new project totally free carrying in their luggage at the core and LimeWire open source.
Initially there will be many differences between the two projects, only in terms of aesthetics through the use of visual themes . However, the structure does not break with LimeWire's interface.
